I'm using a keyboard on a pc hooked up to a TV, and there's definitely some visual latency too. Are there plans to add a way to configure the audio/visual sync? I'd have thought it was practically mandatory for a rhythm game!
Hoping these issues can be sorted out because I absolutely adore this game and really want to progress further, but I'm finding it hard with things being out of sync/laggy
Pretty much this. I'm no percussionist, but I've been playing IIDX regularly for over a decade, and I'm definitely getting noticeable delay regardless of what I've tried (KB or wired XB1 controller), even on the very beginning of 1-1. If I'm playing purely based off the visuals I need to hit everything a little early, but if I'm playing just off the sound I need to hit everything just slightly late. I'd love for there to be some sort of calibration a la Crypt of the Necrodancer, but at the moment it's pretty tough to progress.
What controllers use Xinput? I have a normal wired Xbox 360 controller. Does this use Xinput?
Note that it is often hard to distinguish between input lag and video lag. And either can ruin the experience. We're working on recommendations on how to minimize them.
