Is there a more permanent fix for the Garrison features and Hydra servers connection issues?

I thought this happened to everyone since the game is kinda old but I just found out someone on Reddit has never experienced this issue. I know the workaround with turning off/on the internet but that gets really tedious considering how often you use the features.
