Orcs Won't Cheat Death

Despite doing everything in my power to make orcs cheat death like: Dying by them multiple times, having interactions with them and playing on brutal the game just refuses to let any orcs cheat death. Starting new play through after new play through and getting the same result sucks. Maybe someone can answer some questions to help me get a better understanding.
1. Should you own the fort before trying to farm cheated death orcs?
2.If they are a warden can they cheat death
3. Does difficulty matter when trying to get this to happen

diff matters i think cuz on easy mode they cheat death more than on brutal or nemezis

if you lvl 80 your chance to got orc cheated death is almost 0

i seeen alot of people tho for example trying do STORMBRINGERS and some orcs is immune to cheat death they just can't thanks for the nemezis system

Thank you for your response, yeah I've been in nurn trying to get an orc to be a machine but maybe from now on ill switch to easy to farm orcs. I'm level 19 and haven't captured the fort because the orc I want to cheat death is a warchief. Might just have to bite the bullet though because I've tried replacing him in the garrison and it doesn't work. I wish you could do more with the nemesis system because its one of my favorite system in a game ever.

Orcs can cheat death at any time. Difficulty does matter, but it's not super important.
It's really just a 'chance' thing that happens, and ain't a real significant way to guarantee it, but the method of death does matter. If you want Machine, you gotta cleave em, which also isn't a guarantee, but it's the only literal way.

Thank you for responding to me, I really didn't know it was so chance based because when I played on nemesis I managed to get pretty much all my orcs to cheat death when i trained them too. I died to this orc 4 times and he ended up not coming back despite his body remaining on the map for quite some time. Do you have any tips on what I should do to boost my chances of getting orcs who cheat death, such as difficulty, how many times I should die to them etc. because I found an olog who i want to make a stitch but I want to make sure I have the best chances.

You see other interactions? Like ambushers (not the ones when you ride a beast), giftgivers allieds , orcs intros etc?
In some case your save is corrupted and you wont see those, no matter how you die.

I have seen other interactions but I will try to kill an orc on nemesis and report back to see if he cheats death. My knowledge was that having an orc kill you a certain amount of times made cheating death all but guaranteed but we shall see...

When turning difficult down to nemesis i managed to make an orc cheat death with a legendary scar. I would say lower difficulties is ideal for farming death cheating orcs.
