Follower becoming a spy on his own?
I recruited a level 19 bodyguard of one of the level 30 warchiefs and had him betray him.
I saw him as expendable and expected him to die. But he beat the guy to death in 10 seconds.

Here's the crazy thing. After that mission was over I moved on to the second warchief who had a different spy on him. The cut scence happens and who do I see standing behind him?

The level 19 follower! The warchief had 2 bodyguards and one of them was the same guy as before. Once again, he beats the guy to a pulp in about 10 seconds.

Can they just become bodyguards of warchiefs on their own or something?
This dude is a beast and at this rate I'm expecting to see him standing behind the overlord when the siege starts lol.

Might have to make him overlord if he keeps this up.

I.E after taking over a fort it's a chance a unknown orc will be set as a war chief and your fort will be mixed of yours and said chief fighting nonstop. Another example when having no orc captions in a region and taking a fort on your own it's a chance the game will give you free orcs to choose for overlord with a chance of one having unbreakable trait.

i believe they can im not sure on that though
You can brand orcs that are already bodyguards, they do engage in nemesis missions passively so I suppose they might fight for the bodyguard position, then become a spy themselves while the time passes in game.

I'm pretty sure I've not actually seen that happen, but I won't discount it outright.

Dang, I thought this dude was just a badass. Lol
Honestly, I'm just going to send him in for the rest and even the overlord and see if he can succeed. I'll make him overlord if he does.
