One of the best made game expereinces of all time.
I didn't even know it had den-no-go and TBH I dont ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ care.
Anti piracy software suggests piracy; Piracy in it's basic form is a type of theft imo - except no one is 'harmed' - it doesn't 'take' from anyone, but it does mean that a sale is never made.
I can't remember what the issues surrounding denouvo were; but I do know that they were largely resolved years ago; the big D changed their software to be almost invisible from a performance perspective, and they changed their TC's to be less anti-consumer. Ironically people still hate on these guys but will happily go wtih EAC, Battleye, 'redwhateverthatchineseonewascalledwas" or any of the other big names who all have 'basically' the same "anticonsumer" statements in their TC's.
get over it. play game. be happy because you did.

it's funny how many people hate denuvo for having kernel access; but they let Ricochet, and other modern games get away with it. it's like they still hate the biig D but have forgotten why they're against it, and will make an exception for a game that they 'really' want.
Some say Denuvo was removed, some say it's still in the game.
I run these games on my main coding PC. It runs $10k worth of custom built stock market software. I'm not worried about it; I'm just not that important.
you do you, but just.... do you matter that much that you think you're a target for someone?
I mean if you're worried that they can use yoru computer as part of a botfarm to take over the world, then sure, I guess.
I mean, that's kinda like never eating fast food because eventually it might kill you.
or smoking, or drinking, or vaping or 1000000 other things.
it might. oh well.
So this game has no denuvo now???
There's no point in keeping denuvo in a game released 2017 a game that was cracked already, means that DENUVO is useless for this specific title.
Why punish paying customer, the legit players by making em endure this bloatware, this drm which is built-in kill switch, offers nothing of value fo ppl who paid for the game, nothing.
At least capcom removes denuvo drm once the most important sales period has ended and when game is no longer trending and sales dropping, just like they did with resident evil 2 remake, resident evil 3 remake and many more.
Why ubisoft or square enix preserve denuvo in old games? tales of berseria, south park fractured but whole, deus ex, final fantasy XV etc?????
WHY GoG version of shadows of war has NO DENUVO but steam version keeps it?
IF GOG version has no denuvo then steam version shouldn't have denuvo, why punish steam users????
ima skip this game, thx to regional pricing it's just 2 dollars, that's laughable yet with denuvo DRM there's no point, id rather use those 2 dollars for a good indie than support a game with denuvo. That or get it on GOG.
Dude... thats the most Oblivion NPC answer i've ever heard... Could apply that to literally everything lol.
"Why havent i been affected by cancer when so many others have?"
"I'm unconcerned"
Christ man... Just because you haven't YET doesn't mean you won't. And i don't know about you but i'd rather prevent that from happening than just close my eyes and pray...
The Oblivion NPC comparison was on point! Good luck buddy
99% of people agree the game is amazing, your fun is not hurt by people telling the publisher what it would take to get their dollar.
Companies will desperately spy and steal to learn what their customer wants, the anti-Denuvo people are telling them for free.
The word 'shill' is entirely over-used, and mis-used in these forums. Find a better one, that accurately describes the people you depict.
I don't care about Denovo and will play the game anyway; I do not get paid to say that, and you suggesting that I'm some paid actor who is trying to promote "the sale of SoW is nothign but a scam to get Denovo on your PC"... well then where's my cheque?
Yeah, shill isn't quite right. Shills get compensated.
I think there's a term for voluntarily advocating against your own interests, with absolutely no benefit for yourself or your peers, out of a misplaced sense of loyalty.
Was it "useful idiot," maybe?
I'd be okay with that. There definitely needs to be some term for that, considering how often it happens.
I'm glad we've gotten some of the heat out of this argument at least.
Look; I understand that there are anti-consumer practices out there; but I'm not feeling paranoid about protecting my Gaming PC from information gathering; considering there is prettymuch nothing they can discover about me except what Steam already knows.
Well, unless their interested in my internet browser history; which is mostly
"How to Monster Hunter"
"How to Sniper"
"Milf Midget learns her ABBC's"
"How to Git Gud"
"How to stock market in MQL4"
"I hate Hunt's Solo Necromancer"
"How to Video Game"
GOG version has NO denuvo, yet steam players are punished, this is nothing but lazyness from this publisher and dev who wont remove denuvo for steam version.
