is installing mod essentials actually required

im wanting to install a mod with vortex just to change the look of baranor. but it requires me to download this collection to install with vortex. but it involves alot of cheaty things. is this actually required or do i only need packet loader??

and what are those things you are talking about other than the pack loader

in the mod essentials collection on nexus. theres abunch of off site mods that are pretty much cheats. idk why but alot of mods on nexus linked that collection saying download that for vortex installation. but from the looks of it, none of them do anything for the installation. just packet loader.

there is. under vortex installation it says -Shadow of War Mod Essentials- the same collection ive been talking about. once ive installed shadow of war, im just gonna try install it with packet loader only.
