Game always recommends buttons hella late, or even if they don't work. Game always makes you snap in the most ridiculous directions regardless of directions input. Sweet mother of ♥♥♥♥ this game could be fun if it's controls actually worked.

Controls always worked fine for me, the only thing messing you up can be the snapping or the 5 million cut szene introductions. If you stand near an orc, it's possible he can hit you right after when all are done with their speeches. Let's just say you gonna get used to it.

Get used to it? No. I will call it what it is. Bad UI, bad AI, and poor UX. Literally getting shot while stuck in animations I've seen hundreds of times. Studio's always hire people who don't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ play games to make their games and it shows.

I think the controls are comfortable in combat, but there are definitely flaws with them in general. The context sensitive button, aka your action/jump button is way too sensitive when it comes to the points it's allowed to interact with or lock onto. I can't begin to list how many times Talion has launched himself at an olog in combat, or up a random prop despite making ever attempt to avoid them.
