Shadow bundle will give you things for old game
thanks for your response, do you think i should also add the DLC that comes with the shadow bundle into the cart when i add the definitive edition? i dont believe the definitive edition comes with that one DLC.
get definitive; then go back to the store page and see if there are any DLC's that you might not still own that you might still want.
"Definitive" has EVERYTHING in it; even though you can still add the 'story pass' separately and the ...
now dont get confused....
"Story Pass" isn't included in the Definitive; BUT ALL THE CONTENT FROM THE STORY PASS IS IN THE DEFINITIVE VERSION.
I remember feeling pretty burnt out on the game before ever getting to any DLC.
(played on gamepass before)
Pretty large base game and plenty to do just on it's own, tends to get repetitive, and unlikely get to it's DLC content because of this.
DLC's include new tribes as well; kind of a minor thing but new tribes means new Armour Sets.
I have all the things and have never played the expansions baranor/elidrial and don't care to.
Still play the base game pretty often.
thats quite confusing, is that some sort of marketing scheme? but i think im picking up what youre putting down :) i appreciate the input!
yeah tbh thats how i get sometimes, burnt out. i may just start with the base game and see how long im entertained for.
BUT, does any of the dlc affect the gameplay in the beginning/middle of the game, or is it all purely for end game/late game content?
it's pretty eh; for $2 you got Shadow Of Mordor;
not WAR.
But i'm "m wrong, and we are talking about SoW:
honestly; if you got game for $2 and the DLC's are $4 each then totally not worth it;
They get some new voicelines, they wear your skin as armour, they get 2 new weapons per DLC, and a couple of cool kills on you (executions) wth them.
There are a couple of DLC specific Traits they can pick up....
I THINK it adds like Morgal Blade, Dual Sythes, chains, not really sure, acna't rmember. but I do know that those executions are some of the most infuriating to die to. those animations are BRUTAL.
It's all minor stuff. Fun if you've got it, you won't miss anything if you don't got it.
No story, no missions, no nufn.
BUT in saying that; The Slaughter and outlaw kits are cool, some of their backstories and nemesis dialogues are cool, and you can 'collect all the things;
Doesn't affect online at all, or achievo's from memory - and you 'can' steal their orcs from online. I GUESS if you do that then make one of them your Warchief you'd technically gain access to those orcs for a while.
