Must be good to have faith in video gaming future. Dont want to see how it will be in 2030.
Hobby for dropouts using parents cards and pros, casual kicked because why wasting 100+ whatever money for a reskin.

Current state of this series is unclear. And while we're talking about it, so does the Wonder Woman game. It's been 2 years since the announcement and we know nothing about it.

They tried to make Shadow of War a p2w and failed, and had to roll back TONS of p2w mechanics. Then the next game was supposed to be an Arkham sequel where Damian Wayne is the next Batman, complete with Nemesis system... But it got scraped and turned into Gotham Knights instead. And we all know how well it went.

Monolith just isn't doing too well.

And with how WB is treating Rocksteady and Suicide Squad, i doubt that we'll ever get a solid quality singleplayer game for the next release. They'll try to put another p2w bs into it.

Everytime I think about Wonder Woman game I think "Hyena". Just seems almost no serious player wait it and wouldnt be surprised if they just cancel it.
But if they do it they may be in trouble. And it would be even less chances for a Middle Earth one.

Yeah, Ironically after each rollback there was a sale and a real big uptick in new purchases; it's almost like the customers voted with their wallets. I got the game 80% off while the shop as still a thing and I had to tip toe around the in game sstore to get the stuff I wanted; stuff you could buy with in game currency looked almost identical to premium, and it had an 'invisible wallet' policy where you almost didnt even know it was taking money from your Store Wallet because it had no confirmation screens on Real Cash purchases.

I ended up just never using the store or upgrades, and played for years that way; i had MILLIONS in unspent miridian because i never used any of it because I wanted to stay away from the store so badly. imagine wanting to put a fire-sword on an orc to better his chances in an infiltration; or so you could betray/farm him for fire weapons... only to realise that instead of m5000 miridan you just spent $5 (I think it' m500 Meridian now)

So it was asinine.
It was predatory, too - because the paid chests had guaranteed drops for epic or Legendaries. I THINK you could also guarantee some traits or classes with specific Chest Upgrades (I wish I could spend upgrades on my gf's chest, lol)
