I just googled about it. So is Jeff Bezos' Lord of the rings somehow based on the much older Peter Jackson's Lord of The rings film series?
Edit: I really liked Jeff Bezos' Lord of the Rings. I was wondering if this game is like the series. I just really want to be a cool elf guy and kill some oroks!
Most of the Orcs just want to kill Talion. But sure, some of them would happily engage in a little S&M torture session, just for fun, before killing Talion. Skoth the Friendly is all about mutual satisfaction. That counts, right? (Although I'm not sure what gender Orcs are-- it's not something I'd wondered about, until just now, anyway-- but I'm sure they count for something in the alphabet soup of diversity letters.)
Oh, and you have Baranor of the Haradrim who is an NPC in the main game and the playable character in a DLC: https://shadowofwar.fandom.com/wiki/Baranor
"Being born in Harad before adopted by the wealthy family makes him the only Gondorian with Black ethnic features. Due to this, he's the only black character to be featured prominently in the whole Tolkien Legendarium."
It's good that J.K. Tolkien has included token characters and allegories to make the game more enjoyable.
Does this black character have to face any discrimination from the white majority and deal with these problems? I would be interested in playing a game with this kind of story elements.
Why haven't you read the detailed wiki page about Baranor, cited above?
The black guy is the second in charge of his city and the woman is the daughter of its leader.
They basically won the discrimination game and reach a statut where no one can annoy them without real reasons.
You will see NO ONE bothering them about this kind of silly things. Baranor could be white, it would change nothing in the script.
He had some rough times before but thats not in the game.
And for gays, its just Obssessed orc being Yandere, not sure they help the cause...
"I really liked Jeff Bezos' Lord of the Rings", you and the 3 other people who watched it. Its your life, do as you will, but I'd recommend checking out the books and huge collection of other Tolkien games, you might find out why, generally, lord of the rings fans don't like it/ didn't watch
What other games would you recommend from Tolkien?
It's another game developed by Tolkien and his game studio. It's really fun.
Should i give this one a try instead of Shadows of Wars?
I would have been interested to see Baronor overcome issues such as prejudice and racism towards him, it would have been a great way to address real world problems trough this game.
Are there any other video games By JR. Tolkien, which address real world problems?

And I guess that guy, Aruman, is your friend right?....or yourself.
You already decided back on 18 Nov 2022 it was your dream game.
