How to use Shadow Strike Pull

Hello, I have Shadow Strike Pull under Active Upgrade. However, when I pressed LT+X on my Xbox controller, Shadow Strike (Owned Skill) was activated instead. How do I pull the enemy to me instead of me reaching the enemy? I am at Lvl 44.

Hold the X button for the lethal hit, if you just want to attract someone and knock him hold Y (with LT of course).

How to aim at the target? The description in the game just said press X. If I used LT to aim, then I reached the target myself rather than the other way around.

You aim with LT like usual, but you have to hold X or Y.
No holding, you go to the target.
Holding key, the target come to you ( if not immune to arrow).

its a bow skill. So you get out your bow you aim at the orc, you hold the X button or Y depends. As Pandora said
