"Failed to initialize client - unable to load game resources"
I am getting this message when I try to load the game. I've tried everything: running through the file directory itself, checking file integrity, etc. I installed this game on an external USB (Which I converted from FAT32 to NFTS if that matters at all) and I don't really know what to do. Please help

I'm not sure the game would work from a FAT32 filesystem; converting it might not have preserved the original filenames. Try verifying the game and seeing whether it finds missing files.

I converted the FAT32 to NFTS prior to downloading

Well, then the verify should not find any problems. It is still worth running.

You might try making sure the path to the game is present in your $PATH environment variable; add E:\Steam\Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor\x64 or whatever drive + path it may be. (Steam normally handles this for you, but games stored on removable drives can run into issues.)

Go to settings (ie, right click on the Windows icon) and search for "environment". Change your account environment's Path.
