Lol never happened with me, this game is crazy unpredictable sometimes.

So what happened afterwards, did he moved to the region you was in, or after the ambush he went back to his place, did he got duplicated? Or you can't check this cause you killed him?

Yepp, they can follow you around, even several times if you leave that reagion again

So you know, if your orc army screen is full it will replace one random orc which could possibly be your ally orcs so make sure you have a slot open for when you think this may happen.

He stayed in the area I moved to. I ran away because I wanted to recruit him but I was too low level and didn't want to shame him. I moved back to the area he came from but I haven't played since to see if he would follow me again.
