"Stitch" somehow dies?

I was under the information that the Stitch cannot die. However, after he betrayed me his last words were associated with him coming back to life, it has been 2 hours now and he has not come back to take his revenge. Can someone explain this to me?

he'll probably arrive at the worst possible time, like when you're about to ambush someone, or are already in a fight

I killed my Stitch about a week ago and he never came back, guess I hit him a little too hard that time

The Stitch has a much greater chance of coming back than normal, but they're not guaranteed perpetual. Only Zog is truly immortal, and even then only in Mystic-controlled areas.

okay, I figured out why my Stitch never came back to life. For some reason the game was saving him for the final Zog fight, where all your past slain nemesis orcs are raised from the dead.
Maybe the game is saving him for the for you as well
