Talion's skin won't change
I just entered the battle for Minas Morgul but Talion remains to have the same skin he always had. He doesn't look "dark" or anything, no black veins, no pale skin. I don't even have the correct gearset.

You might have a skin equipped, there is a "normal" talion skin that will make him look normal. Would be worth a double check in that menu to make sure you don't have one on.

I did that before I started my playthrough. I couldn't change it though during the mission. I also didn't get the ringwraith set during the mission. Only after.. Is this normal?

yeah in the actual mission you're actually stronger than normal, its a weird buffed version of talion from what i can tell (i just replayed that part of the game). you are given the ringwraith stuff afterward and the rest of the wraith headgear even later
