Crash/Screen freeze Fix

I know this won't work for everyone however I was getting constant screen freezes and crashes at first making the game unplayable. I tried a lot of suggestions from these boards, Redit, and WB's site. One single change finally made a huge difference and I've played 18hrs without a single crash, some single periods of more than as 4 hours straight.

The only thing that made a huge difference for me was switching the display setting to full screen from boderless. after about 10hrs without a crash I switched back to boderless to test it out and had a screen freeze in 10 minutes. I hope this helps some of you having the screen freez/crash issue I was having.

If any is wondering I have a lot of experience with PC gaming, I always have only the necessary minimum of background services and task running, the latest drivers, firmware, etc. and my system is extremely stable running pc games because of it, I rarely have a problem even running games that many others seem to have trouble with. It's rare for my system to have the kind of instability this game was causing, and that simple single setting of going to full screen was like night and day in fixing the issue for me.

I'm editing in my system specs for reference:

Intel 6700k (not overclocked)
GTX 1080
Screen Resolution 1920 x 1080, 144hz refresh
32GB RAM
1GB SSD (game is installed on the SSD)
Windows 10 64 updated
