I really hope they don't remove the unlimited-use feature of MOTU, though, because it's one of my favourite items. I haven't been using it as a might generator; just as a way to escape attacks that would otherwise be unavoidable. As enjoyable as being a lightning-fast necromancer is, with my current build an attack from basically any captain in the game even in the general area of my level is enough to knock me into a down state, so losing that capability would be a massive blow.
Generating Might via spectral dash isn't as fast as via Fatal Might. For Online Conquest, it's a time trial. You need to clear the 21 enemy captains within 10 mins.
But yes, for normal end-game play, Mask of the Undying is quite OP. Monolith could introduce a lot more time trials in normal gameplay to fix that. The theme of the game is massive mayhem by superhuman Talion, and Monolith should keep that.
Have a good day.
And you are the one who is abusing the game mechanics to make it easier, and then complaining when those game mechanics (that you abused) makes the game easier. Why not just use Waters of Lorien as a normal dodge? No one is making you dodge and then elven light over and over again.
I could see your point if the game still makes it much easier when you play normally, but the mask doesn't even really matter if you are playing normally, since you usually have enough focus to use Waters of Lorien anyways.
