The game is perfectly optimised for keyboard and mouse (Although climbing can be a bit sticky at times). The combat is similar to the Batman games and personally I prefer mouse and keyboard over controller on this game

Cool, thank you for the extensive answer
I started playing back in the days of Doom with KB & Mouse and never looked back, except for Flight Simulators, won't play those without 1st Person view or a Flight Stick.
Car Race games are also much better with a steering wheel and pedals.
The game engine is identical to Assassin's Creed games.
works perfectlly fine with mouse and keyboard
thank you guys for respond <3
waiting for sale to buy both parts :)
There is a problem that some keys like SPACE have a number of actions(mentioned above).

I'm thinking a keypad is best. Just switched up from a G13 to Razer and the keys are definitely sharper, you can set keys to work at different levels and remap of course.

Climbing is not easier on the controller. Controls are janky across the board no matter what you choose to play with (excluding aiming with the bow - obviously mouse is better for that)

Yeah but if you play with a controller every one of those functions is still linked to the same button. It's no different, it just comes down to preference.

I think if the OP is thinking of buying a keyboard, a game pad is maybe a better option. I think the sharper keys can give a player an advantage.

I'm only just getting use to the Razer, but it does seem better. It's also got something called 'turbo' key mode.

Is anyone using a mechanical KB? Is it any better with SPACE key?

Gaming it with an G910 Logitech, using additional keys assinged. just done some hrs, but really can say nothing bad about using Mouse and KB, flow is great.

Yes I've come to the conclusion that the key response problem was down to older or cheaper(not mechanical) KB's.
