Shadow of war online ? what is it about ?
I tried looking on google or youtube but i couldnt find a decent answer so im asking here:

What is it about ? i bought both shadow of mordor and shadow of war to have a nice quiet slow paced experience offline, playing alone just to chill, and now i find out shadow of war online is kind of a big thing in the game so the question is, can i play the game offline and dont even bother with online ? is it mandatory for the story or something like in mass effect 3 to get a good ending ?

SoM is already without any online features since the start of this year, thus no worries about that, and as for SoW, it´s not like other online games at all, as both Amadeus and Pandora said. You get Online Conquests (basically you go and conquer Fortresses that were assembled by other SoW players; options are Ranked and Friendly), Online Vendettas (avenging one of your fellow SoW players by entering the world and dealing with the Captain/Warchief that is market as a target) and Online Fight Pits (your Overlord faces another SoW player˙s Overlord; you got Ranked and Friendly again) ...
...
... and they are completely optional for the main story. Only thing they´re mandatory for are some Steam achievements and Daily/Community Challenges, so you can freely ignore them and enjoy the main game as it is.

If you don˙t wish to see ANY trace of online play in SoM, then you have both DLCs instead where not even a single trace of online play happens because, well, DLCs. Either way, again, as others and I say, no worries when it comes to that.

Theres a few things. 1 is online vendettas, where basically you avenge other player online by killing orcs that have killed them. You load into their world and have some objective to lure out the captain then kill him and get some loot and chests for doing it. There is also online fight pits where you put 1 of your orcs against someone elses. Then there is online conquests of forts or something, where you just attack another players forts and get the same type of gear from online vendettas. Its not really online 1v1'ing someone, just base game objectives that have been expanded to online.

So im guessing none of that is mandatory for the story, i would love to avoid any of that to be honest, its unimmersive as fk that there are multiple Talions.

Not mandatory for the story, but if you want to fill your castles with legendaries orcs it may be useful (but well, I guess you dont want this).

You wont see several Talions xd, so who would care about this.
