64 hours into the game and still haven't stumbled upon a Dark Tank or Dark Commander

So here i am, playing the game, finding out about legendary gear and so on. i set my eyes on the dark ring and dark armor, and check their requirements:
kill a legendary tank, kill a legendary trickster or commander

alrighty, fair enough, will keep on looking for them and/or give them legendary training if i only find regular ones

BUT NOOO
i have 64 hours into the game AND THE ONLY DARK COMMANDERS I HAVE EVER FOUGHT WERE IN celebrimbor virtue challenges

same goes for dark tricksters and dark tanks

i am really desperate for help, this rly makes the game a lot more annoying for me cus i can never complete my dream set

Try online vendettas, you can find just about everything there. Also, if you want to make the most of them do them in Seregost and hope for a castle mission. You can get to a huge amount of the map before seeing the 'leaving mission area ' warning.

Let´s also not forget Community Gear challenges as well, since they have a chance to yield Legendary gear all the same ... and just to add to fershlugg˙s comment, also make sure you nab all and every Worm when doing those OVs, so that you know the systems of the person you˙re avenging down to a T because when Online Vendetta target shows up (the one you need to kill in order to finish it), then the "mission area" gets centered on him, which means that as long as he˙s chasing you, you can explore the supposed "out of bounds" areas as long as the target doesn˙t get terrified or starts retreating, as then he tends to vanish in a snap.

That´s how I managed to get some of the more weirdo/extravagant Captains from OVs that I˙ve usually shouldn´t have due to "mission area border".

Dark tanks are quite rare. Weird you didnt met a nose breaker trickster, they are everywhere in this tribe.

If you have other tribes Dlc you could disable them while you are searching for the Darkies.

Better search in a region where you have few guys, dont want betrayals when you are just grinding for guys. Would say Gorgo but I assume you took it xd. And Lithlad isnt that great for Darkies weirdly (even in Vendettas).

I got the first notable ones in Nurnen of all places (thanks, TIM). Feel free to grind there.

Often see some nose breakers (Tricksters) darkies in Seregost, tanks are more in OV or if I am lucky enough to see a Black Thorn/Tooth. For the commander, its usually the Black Blade (often killed in the beginning of the game xd).
Iron Mount uh, to rare xd, even if often tank.

So a Dark Commander. On that you have quite a variety of titles, even though I bet that "Fear Eater" would be the most likely title to have that kind of AC. Same with 2 titles mentioned above (got a Commander Black Tooth myself).

I would check your garrison. I did so many online vendettas just for experience early on in the game and recruited just about every captain I came across. You could have a dark tank somewhere in there that you can upgrade to legendary and sacrifice to the fight pits until he dies and then pick up the gear he drops.
