Regular shaming also causes "Maniacs" to appear. Worse than death just increases the chance of that happening. When orcs become a maniac it's essentially deranged.
you got that wrong... worse than death produces maniacs... those guys have a high chance of becoming legendary... so... yeah... why not? Also maniacs become lvl 65 most of the time
that's odd
it increases the chance by a LOT
So If I want to keep the captain sane, I'm safer just using regular shame?
Worse than death also removes more positive traits (and adds more weaknesses) than normal shaming, because of this, it also has a higher chance of removing traits like iron will.
now that's the answer we were looking for
although with the recent update, when you shame a level 60 and above orc, it's less likely that they loose any strengths.. this does not include iron will.. iron will can still get removed after shaming let's say a level 64 orc, but his strengths will stay the same.. level 59 and below, it's same old same old..
