Blade of Galardiel was bad, but not as bad as Desolation of Mordor.... At least we get to see Torvin, the dwarf that had major part of the first game's story.
All in all, DLCs should have been : Unlock regions and continue Talion's journey, with bigger stronger harder challenges. ( There are red regions in the map that will never ever be unlocked, wich sucks )
It's crappy to leave Talion for lesser side protagonists that has a limited access to what Talion could do... I mean, we worked/trained/leveld Talion and his army all game long just to leave him for some underwhelming and uninteresting protagonists...
Long story short, I share your opinion.
I don't touch the online aspect much except some vendetta's. Siege is kind of fun but being interupted by captains' intro speeches, captains' enrage prompts, captain's death... You know what I mean. Keeping focused in all that chaos was already enough, being interrupted every 15 seconds is irritating.
I don't even think it's a good thing considering Talion can wraith-run, wraith-climb and wraith-double-jump. I mean, every thing new this DLC gives are lesser versions of what Talion could do.
Imo, these DLC should have been main-game sidequests and DLCs should have been greater challenges for Talion.
Not to mention that when these interruptions ends, the camera doesnt return to where it was so you no longer see what you were focused on.
Off topic : I seen somewhere that they are working on a next Shadow title. Would be open world and we would be able to not only dominate orcs but also hire human mercenaries ( maybe also elfs and dwarfs ).
Shadow of war has irritating flaws but I am still addicted. I will surely buy a next title in this franchise. I only hope that it will be Talion again. They way Shadow of War ends, it's very unlikely tho... Ending also highly suggest that Ethariel would be the next protagonist and I would be really disapointed if it's the case.
Yeah lol, how many times you sneak behind a captain for a stealth attack, ending up stealth attacking one of his grunt because the targeting switched at the last fraction of second...
