Brutal Difficulty and score multiplier
When it says this difficulty doesn't increase your score multiplier, does it mean it doesn't increase it above Gravewalker's multiplier, or that it doesn't increase it at all, period?

Nvm answered my own question. It doesn't give any multiplier at all. That's stupid. considering it's harder than Nemesis mode but gives no bonus.

Brutal difficulty is not harder than Nemesis, enemies might do a lot more damage, but so do you. It's not more difficult if you're buffed as much as the enemy.

Nemesis is easy as sin though. I actually have to try in Brutal.

Agreed. Would be nice to not get score punished for playing brutal instead of nemesis, if nemesis isn't really harder and brutal is harder than normal.

The fact that you hit harder also doesn’t change the fact that mistakes cost you more. Brutal mode is definitely more unforgiving.

brutal mode may give your hits more weight and atleast one last chance but it still has all the other things from gravewalker, more aggresive enemies, shorter mission timers, enemies leveling up in larger numbers, more captains on the field (which in a larger map i guess doesnt matter) faster adaptability (which i guess also doesnt matter being able to deal more damage)

To sum it up, the devs done goofed

Its a happy medium. Gravewalker was annoyingly slow on some fights. I want to feel OP while being challenged. Which is what this mode does. Its just as punishing as gravewalker except it doesnt take forever to kill captains.

@Mercy is right - at least from the design intent. Brutal is meant to fuel shorter, more intense combats that require your mental focus and tactical awareness, but also buff your attacks enough that battles are faster and feel, well, more brutal.
I do agree Brutal should *at least* give a better multiplier than Normal, though. (x1)
I promise to pester Design about this. The people have spoken!

AWESOME:)
Brutal is one of the best additions I think to the games difficulty.
Nemesis feels good in length of fights but to easy, and gravewalker like said to long of battles, however brutal, like you said is the happy medium and makes it challenging while not getting bored during a brawl with a captain.
