Orc came back after being decapitated?

I decapitated an overlord, threw his head off the fortress' throne room. And he comes back to haunt me, how is this possible!?

The cheated death perk works regardless how orcs die. I'm currently facing an orc i've killed 3 times . head,arms and waist all cut from body over time. he shows up still. although he flaunts it. his suffix is "the unkillable" and makes a speech about how all across mordor he's been slain but returns.

Damn that must be annoying. This guy im facing is ridiculously strong too, have to cheese him with a graug everytime if i want to defeat him.

Nice! That's one of the legendary death cheating captains. you'd do best to let him live and later on brand him as these seem to be 1-offs per playthrough playthrough.

Had the exact same thing happen, the dude was an absolute ♥♥♥♥♥ to kill the first time with his stat roll. Completely immune to fire, poison, ice, calls in 2 dire caragors, slays any beast I have, and gets enraged if i try to dodge his attacks. When I finally managed to kill him I was so happy, then an hour later when im fighting 2 dudes he shows up looking even uglier than before, and almost insta kills me. Az-Tarmo The Stitch. ♥♥♥♥ him. I ended up just running every time he showed up until I got to the final act, then I kept humiliating him until he became a complete idiot.
