Glaive Tips
Hey everyone, been noticing I have a really hard time making use of the glaive skill/weapon, outside of mounted combat. Does anyone else find it pretty weak mid fight? I haven't tried the upgrades on it yet, but if anyone recommended something, I'd give it a try.

Otherwise, I thought this might be a good thread to store various tips/ideas/information regarding this new addition to the series.

It breaks wooden shields.

Upgraded so it can be used more than one swing is better. The problem is the time it takes to charge it, which means any close enemy gets a hit in before it can charge and you have to start again.

I like the might upgrade. You can get most of your might bar filled with a half decent swing.

I didn't realize it could bust through a shield, and I'll try the might upgrade too. Thanks all!

Glaive attacks are not so formidable... I thought it could break through anything. But if you charge 2 times and hit it on shield/savage dude you will get counter easily (even with machine legendary, explosion glaive)

it kinda sucks to be countered by savage even if u release an explosion on them :(

I didn't realize there was a set using the glaive, still not very far into the game (just taking my time!)

Thanks for all the responses!

Almost finished the game in hardest mode, never could master this. When I see this video I just can't do it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sujfWQuHXlY

Glave is godlike when used though, fills your might meter so glaive into fire/frost ground pound is OP as hell. Can instantly dispatch a large horde of orcs this way and leave captains all alone for a time.
