[spoilers] some questions
so I've been to act 4 now (just started) and had a few questions about gameplay. If I revive an orc, can he betray me later? Whats the different between undead and branded orc in terms of health and traits? About traits, how many traits can I add to an Orc without replacing existing traits? Does legendary/epic limit the number of traits or is it not relevant? How do they gain trait?

Sorry if I'm being annoying, but just wondering. "spoilers" tag because it has resurrection skill

I remember reading some where that undead/resurrected captains come back 5 lvls lower than what they were before they died and do not lvl up anymore. The undead are also immune to posion and but vulnerable to flames (not sure if this shows up in traits as I havnt resurrected any captains myself)

As for the limit of traits I'm not sure, I once saw a captain who had a total of 7 bonus traits but I didnt put any training orders on him, they also randomly gains traits sometimes whilst leveling up after a battle.

If you revive someone they lose their personality , gain weakness to fire and can never betray you,

With the full nazgul outfit your undead orcs are almost twice as strong as normal ones just they are weak to fire and can never gain lvls "also they lose 5 lvls per revive"

As for traits it depends on what traits they have, what rarity the orc themselves are and other such things.

Some people can manage to get three epic traits onto a single orc.

I think what you wanna do is get a orc with a element weapon and resistances, add in a scroll that gives them something that boosts them to epic then use a legendary scroll to add in a final trait.

Q) If I revive an orc, can he betray me later?
A) No. Revived orcs can't betray you as they lack a brain or any form of sentience afterwards.

Q) What's the difference between undead and branded orcs in terms of traits?
A) When you revive an orc, their level is reduced by 5 and they no longer level up. If they die, you can revive them again, but they lose another 5 levels. Undead are more resistant/immune to poison, and more vulnerable to fire, by default, and any Undead captain who has the reverse of either of these traits will lose that trait and gain the reverse - IE fire immunity, resurrected, loses fire immunity and gains fire vulnerability. Otherwise they're no different stat-wise.

Q) How many traits can I add to an Orc without replacing existing traits?
A) Orcs can have no more than 2 Epic traits, however, using an Epic Training Order on an Epic Captain will not give them a second trait and make them legendary, but raplace their current Epic Trait. That requires Legendary Training Orders to do. Most traits an orc can have will not replace others, however, you may only have one Weapon and Gang trait on each captain. Any other non-epic trait can be placed on a captain without overwriting another trait, so far as I'm aware. Note that not every trait has a training order, mostly because it would be OP to be able to give a captain immunity to everything one by one, and that many traits are class-specific. Legendary/Epic ONLY affects the number of Epic traits available to that orc. Orcs can also gain and lose traits naturally by leveling up or down - Shaming an orc can remove strengths and grant weaknesses, while increasing the orc's level will do the opposite, giving them more strengths and fewer weaknesses. Often a mortal or high vulnerability weakness will be converted to an immunity or an enrage if that captain's level rises high enough.

"No more than 2 epic traits" .. Key word being "trait" .. There are 4 categories in orc.. Immunity, Hates, class "traits", and "bonuses"

On the legendary orc I am looking at I see "2" orange epics under bonuses.. "Epic Trait: Fire Warder", and "Epic Determination" --> Under bonuses, not class "traits"

If I were to give him an advance order:

Either "Epic Training: Mighty Warriors" or "Epic Training: Mighty Ologs" .. Would it replace either of those 2 orange epics in the bonus category? Or would they just be added to class traits?

They say they will replace the Champion Tank Epic.. Tho I see nothing on the orc that says tank.. I am confused, and would like further clarification on this, and the system of orders.

Thank you, much appreciated.

Correct me if I'm wrong but i think epic determination is the champion epic trait for tanks?
