1. If there was a sort-of Undead Army thing going on, why would the Uruk keep it's personality same as before. Sure, it may not be highlighted as much with the first game some much as well... "BRIGHT LORD, DARK LORD? ALL THE SAME TO ME REALLY!" It just seems to me like it would make more sense for an Uruk to not be a mindless drone if they keep their personality in such a way.
2. The GOOD thing about the glowing eyes (not to mention the giant handprint) was the Friend-or-Foe recognition. Right off the bat you could tell if it was a friendly Uruk, or one that'll squeal when you try to gut them with a broken sword.
I hear "Bright Lord Dark Lord,Same thing really!"
Wraith flame - looked cool and otherworldly; wish they kept it:-(
Same with stun ability. I prefer if Ice was separate ability or added weapon effect via runes.
Also, I don't like the look of daggers. In SoM they looked like, well, ghostly daggers, now they look like white lines imo.
Glad we don't need to see the glowing hand print it looked tacky in my opinion.
I some what agree with the wraith powers being switched with elemental ice and fire. But I guess it is to add more options which never really hurts. Who know the classic stuff might still be in there.
Alright then.
Yes, I know it is still in the game, I meant the effect of it, the visuals.
Well, can't all agree on something being cool, which is why I kinda wish there were customisation options.
Well, by "undead army" I meant they all looked possessed or undead, due to the glowing blue eyes. Just seen so many fantasy versions of undead with blue glowing eyes.
I didn't mean they were actually undead.
And yeah, I am finding it a bit hard to differentiate friend from foe in Shadow of War. Gets quite a bit chaotic, and apparently the resident tester at Monolith is also struggling with that.
Yeah, nothing quite like some ghostly spectral flames.
I agree with your points.
Well, yeah, I agree, that was kinda weird, how they acted, but I still loved the visual effect.
Just wish I could purchase an upgrade to have that return, or being able to use an ability to purge the free will from one of my branded Captains, Warchiefs or Overlords, complete with the visual effect to signal it.
Hopefully the classic stuff is still in there somewhere, I hope so.
