Can legendary equipment become over level 80? If yes, how?
Can legendary equipment become over level 80? If yes, how?

So far I only got epic equipment over level 80, but no legendaries, is there a way to get them over level 80?

I got Level-80+ legendary gear just from killing any Level-80+ legendary-captains that accidentally got one or two extra levels from finishing off a friendly captain, either that, or I got it from pure RNG of killing normal Level 80 Legendary captains, both ways being with Online Conquests.

Legendary captains will drop one legendary item matching their level.

Yep that's true too, lol. I don't think it matches their level 100% of the time though...

I never got a level 85 legendary item, it definitely does not match their level all the time, it might be a random chance to be of any level higher than 80 and 85 seems to be very rare.

Send a death threat to a legendary next time you end the game, better odds i guess. I dont know if i ever had lvl 85 gears, 83 yeah but... didnt bother for a 5 lvl gap-_-.
