(DLC Spoilers) My thoughts on The Desolation of Mordor
It was so much fun playing as Baranor. Just the fun story, his brother, the captains and NOT being called "Gravewalker" or anything like that I have heard a million times, just being called things like "human scum" was so refreshing and nice on the 'social' aspect.

Then there's Baranor not respawning like Talion and you losing the run if you die even once, which made it extra exciting to play, because for the first time I had to be REALLY careful not to die, and at least in the beginning it was hard, without any upgrades and all those different enemy types, especially beasts like Graug and one time I saw a dragon far away but just ran away.

Later on Baranor becomes even more broken than Talion in my opinion, all these really cool abilities and Torvin upgrades are just so awesome and the way Baranor fights with them looks so good, and the mercenaries are incredibly strong as well:
I died after two hours in my first run because I got cocky and didn't heal enough, a No Chance captain killed me, but in my second run, when I had more gold to start with and a 20% discount for mercenaries, I was able to buy an epic mercenary and god he was BROKEN.
He's enraged every time Baranor, so the player, gets hurt which means he was very easy to enrage and I could very easily control it every time, he was a battle master too so that boosted his combat power even further, this guy absolutely destroyed every orc and captain, and I became even more broken when I recruited two other good mercenaries.

It was also cool to see that normal humans like Baranor and the mercenaries aren't just weaklings the orcs can easily defeat and kill, in the first game all I saw where human slaves and some human nation hiding from orcs, in this game all I saw was an important human border city be conquered by orcs, but this DLC finally switched things up and humans are finally badass again.

Oh and it was also really nice seeing Torvin again, always cool seeing returning characters from the first game. Cheers Ratbag my favourite orc of all time.

I once had a combat master with devastator (deals more damage), the perk that gives a damage boost after a combat command and the other perk that gives a damage bonus when above 75% health.

Killing machine.

Honestly yeah, you got yourself a monster there! These mercenaries are so strong, I almost wish they were in the main game too somehow, so that Talion could hire them and do whatever he wants with them, although that would be less ethical than playing with orcs I believe, so that will never happen.
Too bad there is no replacement for the mercenaries once they die.
Would be nice that once you lost a mercenarie (legendary) he gets replaced (after weeks ingame) by a regular mercenarie who then upgrades up to legendary again while surviving and killing enough orcs (which makes sense because one obviously gains skills and gets stronger through combat experience).
