Am I doing something wrong? - Getting orcs during Vendetta

Hey guys,

Basically this happened today and is the most striking example - but it happened before a few times as well. I got in an online vendetta mission - turns out this guy has all his orcs at 80 and legendary. So I was rubbing my hands like the store orc, and DOMINATED and sent away with option 2 (make spy in the case) thinking I'm piling up a nice collection of legendary orcs in the garrison.

I got 3 or 4 this way. At that point I realized he got all his orcs at 80 and legenday so I stated revealing the other captains with Worm guys, hoping that some of the revealed orcs will attack me. Sure enough I got at least 2 more, and dominated those as well.

Finally as I was chasing one last guy I accidentally killed him and the game said - mission complete, avenged <playerX> successfully. AND when I went back in my game and the garrison i had exactly 0 or ZERO orcs gained.

Also a bit strrange that the guy that I killed ended the mission since I'm pretty sure it was the other orc running around.

TL/DR
- online vendetta
- all orcs are legendary
- dominated 3-4 before i triggered the boss guy to appear (by poisoning 3 grog barrrels)
- used option 2 (make spy/retreat)
- dominated and recruited at least 1 orc while the boss was out and about
- killed the orc/not sure if the boss one - mission ended with success

- no orcs in my garrison = big bummer

After dominating those captains do not send them as spies.
Instead tell them to stay and fight.Again dominate them and tell them to retreat.
This way they appear in the garrison instead of staying as spies in that vendetta world

Oof so I did myself in there didnt I. I could swear I tested this to see if infiltrate will work the same as retreat and it did - thats why I was so relaxed about doing it that way. Oh well thanks for clearing that up.

It might be chance based when infiltrating. I used to do that also till I noticed some of them not garrisoned
