How to decrease download size of the game?
I have a 256 gb ssd thus limited space. I am trying to download the game but it was 76 gb at first but now it requires 110. I unchecked dlc from properties but still it wants 110 gb.

What should i do

There is nothing you can do about it on Steam, really. The game takes 110 GB after all the patches.
You can give CompactGUI a shot if your system is running Windows 10.

Lol, unckecking means only "active/deactivate" i guess. Lazy programming 101 for devs. Include everything and do not create an enviroment for user to install what is needed. Just put every free stuff as dlc and do not download everyting at first!!

Don't think you can control the content amount prior to downloading, only after. What you can do instead is to download the game to a hard disk with enough space, remove the content you don't need and transfer the data to your SSD partition.

This is what i will do. Problem is where/how to find CORRECTLY not needed content? For example i am sure 4k textures are not needed but what else. What if i delete wrong stuff? It will download all over it again. I will never be able to do "verify game files" with this method though

This is probably pretty tricky as you don't wanna touch the stuff that isn't listed as DLC in your library page for the game.

I hope steam does not do auto " verify game files " and probably i will have to stop updates for the game too

Having the tribes on your harddrive is necceccary because of the online features of the game.

Well big sale season is coming up soon. You can snag yourself a 1, 2, even 3 tb external hard drive for very generous prices soon.

You can go into steam 'help' then 'support' then type in the game you have then a list of dlc appears for shadow of war, highlight for example '4k cinematics' then click remove permanuntly from account and bingo its gone! saved yaself 20 gig or whatever it is.

Good news is its a free dlc to add to account again if you want it at a later date.

Just be sure you dont delete the main game from ya account and any dlc that you paid for!

Hope this helps.

Install size is going to be 110~125 GB. If there is not AT LEAST this much space on your SSD then it simply isn't going to fit.

First world problems... am I right!

The problem is lazy programming. Game installs every dlc and even their updates without you buying it. When you purchase it, it immediately activates meaning there will be no download.

As i already wrote you need to have at least the tribe dlcs installed because they can appear in online sieges and vendettas.
