Disk Write Error, need help
I've got a problem with downloading shadow of war, each time I try to download it, no 42GB (more or less) it gives me "Disk Write Error" and repeats it each time I try to continue downloading. I tryed all I could find in internet to fix it, but still, I can't download it. If anybody knows what's the problem, please help, I'll really appreciate it.

I had the same problem. I downloaded it to a different drive and that solved the problem.

Are you sure that you have enough space availble for the game to download?
When I downloaded it, it took like 90gb of space

You may need a lot more than that free. You essentially have to have enough free for both the download archives and the game and the game without optional packs is ~110GB. After the install is complete the download archives will be deleted and that space regained, but you still need enough for them + game install to get the install to complete.

Will 206GB be enough? Cuz if not, I don't know what to do. I deleted everything I didn't need and only important files are left.

Try starting up the download and see if it throws any errors.

You can monitor the contents of ..\Steam\steamapps\downloading\ as well as the game's install folder to see what steam is doing. It varies by game. For some games there are a series of archives and it will extract files to the install folder periodically throughout the download, while for others it's just one large archive that extracts once finished.

I would think 200GB+ should be enough though.

Fixed it only with downloading a torrent and putting all the files into steam folder.

It was in D and steam was run as administrator, didn't help. I already wrote the way I solved this problem.
