Help with overpowered overlord

So I've spent the past 7 hours preparing an assault only to be trumped 3 consecutive times by the overlord. Maybe I would stand a chance if he was alone but he has infintate minions and has torn down 4 of my bodyguards.
He one hits me, gorgorgoth or something fortress.
He's a maniac level 58 olog and I'm level 28 with underleveled gear.
The other captains levels range from 24-32
Anyone know how I could beat him? I've been working really hard all day to get the fortress.

You are only 28 ,he 58, you see the problem? Just do some quests, kill captains etc. to level you and your items. You will kill him eventually

Yeah but you know I kind of already spent 7 hours on the game trying to conquer the region be nice if I didn't spend another 7 on it. Who knows how long it would take before I'm level 40 or something for an even small fighting chance. (

But I guess if that's the only way I'll go to the next region or do some quests(Every other captain/war cheif in the region I'm working on is dead or owned by me

He has no weaknesses?

Gear up yourself and your bodyguard so they match his weaknesses (and strengths).

Example if he is strong with fire but weak against poison, equip some gear that gives you %chance to do poison damage and stuff that gives fire protection.

I was in a similar situation when assaulting my first Fortress. What worked for me was sending 3-4 Orcs to infiltrate the Overlord's company (bodyguards who then betray him). The enemy Orcs tend to over-focus on you, so I kited him and drained the minions while my friendly backstabbers took him down.

yeah kiting is always a good option when you wanna go against a target with a higher level in the open world.

but let's be real. lvl 28 and no good gear against the overlord in a closed room meeeh. i mean you basically get the best legendary set by just completing the online vendettas. if you select the right abilities on the character tree you're invincible - if you got enough skill. and if you don't got skill select a lower difficulty

14 hours for one region doesn't sound much for me, cause i generelly like to grind everything to perfection before moving on. but if you wanna rush through, at least do it with a decent strategy. do some research.

Yeah I killed him (three times now won't stay dead and whenever I recruit him he just betrays) thanks for the help

Um he just cheated death and ambushed me in another region? Is this normal?

Hes no longer scared of flies, has bestial frenzy and the only thing that scares him is someone leveled higher than him
