That's part of the problem.
The first time I saw him, he was talking about throwing me a surprise party or something. And whenever I send him to the fight pits, he says wimpy stuff like "I don't know how this will end". He's not a macho, corpse-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bear orc, he's a lisping, vegan-kombucha-sipping fairy orc, and it's really bizarre.
Is it a derangement? What is going on?!
Because after seeing 3,000 or so Orcs between this game and the last, there's suddenly one lone orc who acts completely out-of-character, and that begs an explanation...?
I usually say there are no dumb questions, but sorry, dude, yours is kind of dumb.
Orcs have the potential to be just as clever and crafty as any other race. That said, it's also plausible that he's not really the person he appears to be. Orc 'culture' is one of violence, brutality, and competition. It encourages the strongest and most capable among them to rise to positions of authority. Since you said he's a capable fighter (capable enough for you to make him an Overlord), I'd say that it's possible that he created this persona to lull potential rival orcs into underestimating him. After all, who are you more likely to take seriously: a hulking uruk with twin cursed battleaxes who boasts of his strength and ferocity, or an uruk who approaches with a smile on his face (and a dagger behind his back)?
Well, I'm less looking for a lore-reason* and more for a metagame/behind-the-scenes reason, but thank you. That was helpful.
So he's a premade orc? Like a comedy easter egg, I guess? That's good, because I've been kind of worried to use him in fights, and while being premade would make him technically irreplaceable for purposes of my campaign, I wouldn't feel as bad getting him killed by accident.
*lore-wise, the game's already blackwashed Harad (Baranor should have been protrayed by a Middle-Eastern actor) and butchered Shelob (talk about "missing the point" of a classic literary villain!), in addition to the many many problems carried over from the first game, so I personally choose to just accept "WB lore" as is and not ask lore questions. The games are fun, so I focus on that.

Even conan did an interview with him and even he said it's the worst.
HAHAHAHA and here I was taking your comment serious untill you said this :^)
Sounds like a party Urukdude. Shouldn't that be vegan-kombucha-sipping ELF orc as this is set in Middle-Earth. Does calling him names enrage him by the way?
