just try it out and see what's best for you. hf
Nemesis by now you can prob. play blindfolded and mabey still take a fort this way.
Gravewalker is most certainly the most difficult, for sure, but in terms of actual enjoyment, Brutal wins out easily. It’s not a cakewalk, but it’s not a huge slog either. All Gravewalker ends up being is a pain in the rear because Captains have so much health that they’ll just adapt to everything before half of their health is gone and then you’ve got to spam the same couple of attacks on them for ten minutes and if you make a single mistake during that time, you’re dead.
On gravewalker you don't start off with any last chance stands, early game I found myself running more so I didn't die as often and captains are harder to take down because Talion does less damage/can't do special moves as often. The orcs themselves still have a damage boost though.
If you want a more kick back style of gameplay I'd say play on Brutal, if you want the nemesis system in full swing and have more intense encounters I'd suggest playing on gravewalker.
It's fun and keeps you busy for a long time :D
Something changes in the lore/story between brutral or gravewalker? The nemesis sytem are different?
Nothing changes in the story. In Gravewalker, all Orcs attack faster, will gang up on you more, detect you easier from stealth and Orcs take 3X more damage to kill, and you get no last chances by deault. On Brutal, all of the same stuff applies, except you get one last chance by default and Talion's damage is buffed rather than nerfed so you die quickly, but so do enemies. A lot of people favor Brutal because Gravewalker, especially at higher levels, can become tedious with possibly dying to Captains in only one hit and then them taking ten minutes or more to kill because they eventually adapt to your whole kit. On the flip side, you become so OP by the endgame that Gravewalker can be the only way for some folks to feel any challenge. It depends on what you want from the game, really. I favor Brutal because I don't like health sponges, but it's worth trying both out to determine what it is you'd like.
