The easiest level-up method ever for EXP farming.
I stumbled across a super easy method to level up. If you have EXP boosters, this only gets easier.

The process does take a little luck to work though.

Find an orc that is Intimidated by another orc.

Level them really high. If you level them too high, their intimidated weakness might vanish, so be careful. I lucked out that this guy got all the way to 61.

Send your orc off to kill them.

They will flee the battle, and you will either win instantly, or you'll win after about twenty seconds once they get off-screen.

Bonus: Send a different, lower leveled orc to kill them, and include your guy in the ambush. When the high-level orc flees, the low level one instantly gets boosted a sh*t-ton.

I'm getting 10k exp a pop, or 20k with a booster. EZ level 60. You can do this at any level, too.

Impressed?

And again, but with a level 18 and my intimidating orc as an ambush.

Took twenty seconds, including time to fast travel and reach the event.

Interesting, I'll use it on a new playthrough.

I think I would get even more exp if the intimidated orc in question were epic or legendary. Not 100% sure.

I'm only getting 4000, should I lower the intimidaters lvl? I am only level 47, the intimidated is level 47, the intimidater is level 40
Klokinator Jun 28, 2018 @ 5:58pm
You need to raise the intimidatee's level, the enemy orc, to 60 or higher. Remember, EXP gain is exponentially based on an orc's level.

How would I do that besides dying? I only give him one level that way
Klokinator Jun 28, 2018 @ 6:09pm
You can die to him, or you can death threat which always gives +5 levels.

Oh, and you can also have one of your orcs fight him, and have him win. That will level him up too.

This is a great trick, I've used one like this to level my orcs. Another bonus: if you level an orc by Terrifying his opponent out of the mission, your guy is likely to develop Enraged By Cowards.

Very interesting. I did not know that. I want to develop the three elemental enrages somehow but all the attributes feel RNG.

late to the game - zombie post - ah well
I could not find a rivalry as mentioned in the first post, in any of my realms...but I did find another solution...almost anything under the column "mortal weaknesses" can be used.
I found a captain with "Quivering Wreck" in that column. QW = "Flees in terror seeing an enraged enemy.
And then I found a captain, of my own, with the "Hates" column of "Enraged by injury" = "what it says, every time he gets hurt he's enraged" which very quickly in a fight he does...and the other captain goes a runnin'
I leveled the QR orc to 13 levels or so above my own and off to the races.
My first test I had +28% exp and was getting about 10K every time I have Enraged attack QW.

And just my luck the trigger location for their nemesis meeting is one giant leap from the nearest Haedir tower.

Another fortress, another XP orc - This one was afraid of CURSE - so I leveled him to 27 levels above my own (odd, he went from 10 to 27 seemingly with one threat)....anyway
Send curse minion after him (lets call him JOE), he runs away after getting hit - rinse - repeat...
I can't quote how many encounters were required - but maybe 10 or so - eventually this CURSE fearing orc became a JOE fearing orc. As soon as JOE shows up he runs. Much simpler.
Restating - he ACQUIRED the mortal fear of another orc after running so many times.

Hi. This doesn't seem to work anymore. I tried several times, my orc flees as intended and I get end mission screen, BUT I receive no experience,
