Reducing Download Size?
So I looked up that the game can be around 67 GB or so with the basic textures, and it's only 93 GB with the 4K textures and cinematics. I do not have a 4K display, and my internet isn't that good so it's gonna take a few days to download the game in the first place, yet alone with the 4k textures.

Of course, I would've bought the game on PC DVD to bypass all of this, but Warner Bros hasn't bothered printing actual disks of this game, so it's download or nothing. Good business plan there, jerks. But that's besides the point.

Anyway, is there a way to reduce the file size of the initial download. It says on the interent that you can uncheck the 4k textture download via the DLC tab on the game options, but it wasn't there when I checked. Is there another way, or do I have to download 30 extra gigs of texture that I don't want or need?

Thanks

PS, we should probably be working on better compression technology than putting up with this bs tbh.

Would not matter if you had a disc copy or not. WB has a habit of only putting half the game on discs, then you have to downlaod the rest.

As for the 4K texturs, if you look on the Libray page at the DLC list and untick it, and it should not download it. Same gose for any of the DLCs, but you may need to restart the download for it to trigger it.

Well, when you live in Australia, land of the worst internet in the first world, even half of a 90 gig game on disc is better than having to download the whole thing at 500KB/s max.

And yeah, now it's a 90 gig game, because I'm apparently downloading all the DLC that I don't own as well. Apparently the game is 130 gigs with the 4K textures and cinematics now LMAO.

I'll probably enjoy this game once I get it installed and going, loved the first one (which is less than half the size of this one lol) but right now I just want to ♥♥♥♥♥ about it since I have about 3 days straight of downloading to do.
