How is this game after the removal of Loot Boxes?

Thinking about purchasing this in the future.
Just wandering how is the game now that there are no loot boxes?
Is there a ridiculous grind? or what?

i think its better now you can you can use mirian to buy training orders

A lot of the RNG is gone now but you have a lot more options for influencing orc stats and rarities. There are more sources of mirian now and like crysis said you can buy training orders directly now. Your source for the orcs themselves is either your own field or through online vendetta and conquests, where dominated orcs are placed in your garrison. Then you can deploy them and tweak them to your liking with training orders. It still doesn't change much in terms of the nemesis system. You still have to "breed out" bad stats through shaming and leveling and both that and betrayal/relationships are still random. But it feels like you have a lot more control over the entire process because mirian comes in faster and training orders are more available. In that regard, yes.. I believe the grind has been cut down on considerably. Playing on gravewalker though I hear is still a grind in that its very difficult.
