Blade of Galadriel: Need Help with Legendary Fire bow challenge

Am I the only one having problems completing Legendary Fire Chaser's bow challenge?

It says: Set five enemies on fire using a single headshot.

The way I'm doing it is I'm infusing one enemy with light and then shoot his head while other enemies are near him and it makes them all go on fire, even more then 5 enemies at the time, but that doesn't get the challenge complete for some reason or am I doing something wrong?

I have tried this a multiple times, but just can't seem it to get work.. I didn't have any problems with completing other weapon challenges, but I'm stuck with this one.

Any ideas?

It doesn't work for me either. I've read several reports which say the same. I am currently waiting for this to be patched. With the lack of post-story content, I am aiming for the gear challenge to make me play a bit more with Elthariel as I loved her gameplay so much.
Anyway, report to the devs, seems like a bug many people have noticed.

Try blinding a large group close togeather with cone of light then exploding one that is in the middle.

No, the problem is that the bow doesn't produce explosions in itself. I can produce explosions after the death of ennemies, with the use of the bow while I have equiped most of the items of the fire set, but it doesn't produce explosions on its own, contrary to what its description says. I'm pretty sure I did produce explosions which affected more than 5 ennemies, but it didn't validate the challenge. Also, whenever I take out the other items of the set, which implies that only the bow effect may produce an explosion, nothing happens. Hence, it is a bug with the weapon itself.

Have you completed the challenge yourself? Did it work for you? Because thats what I was doing and it didnt work.

I think the frost bow I had has something about ~40% explosion on fully-charged head shot.

You can't complete weapon challenge if you don't use the required weapon for the challenge which in my case is Fire Bow. So changing it to something else wont work.

I know that you can't switch it out, I was asking if there was some *other* piece of gear that will net you that ability.

Hasn't worked for me, either. Even tried having Cataclysm activated, fully charged shot, 5 blinded enemies... head shot ... supposed to detonate any blinded enemies touched by the orb of Light... didn't register.

Between this, and my luck at finding drakes in the game, I'm almost done with all the challenges. Rather upsetting, but I'm not a huge fan of the fire set anyways.

A suggestion. Arrows penetrate foes. try getting five enemies in a straight line.

Challenge requires for you to set them on fire and not to kill, but thanks for the tip.

I'm aware that it's not the best gear set in the dlc, but I just want to complete the challenge just for the sake of completing all challenges and having all legendary gears maxed out. Fire gear set is the only one I'm having problems with.

Ive tried the challenge with just the bow it still dosent work and ive done it with like 20 enemies and it still doenst work they just disinagrate.

I think the prodlem is that someone at Monolith had the full fire chaser set when they tested the bow. the set causes blind enemies when killed to cause a firey exploshion similar to the bow's power.
