Infinite Loading

Im doing the siege mission in Nurnen with the Olog the game gives you but when I enter the mission all I get is an infinite loading screen. No crashes, no nothing. Just music and the bottom right symbol of loading and thats it. I can wait 5 or even 10 minutes and nothing.

Searched online for a fiz but all I found was people with the same problem from back in October '17.

Any fix for this or workaround? All help is welcome.

I'm having the same problem and I have ran into a few "fixes" but the results would be unbearable... I have found out that killing the warchief's is the possible cause of this bug becuase the game is trying to reconize them. How ever I made a random enemy Orc into a warchief and it still does not work. you could try this and maybe it could work for you but I am going to try one more time. Also the last "fix" that I found is completly restarting the game. I refuse to do that.

Well I have replaced the warchiefs and the game still refuses to load. Only option I see is strying to go back to a different save state or completly restarting...

Have trying advacing the time, killing captains or making some. No result. I'm 40 hours in... I think I'll leave the game for some time and check back when a new patch is released. But thx for the info.

Yeah I think I will do the same because there is different enemy warchiefs and the game still refuses to go on. It is really sad that they have not fixed this even though the game has been out for a while. But they will still release DLC because why not

I've heard people say it was fixed in a previous patch. Either it didnt get fixed or the bug came back with the new changes made in the new patch... Here's to hoping it gets fixed soon...

same here.. got the same bug when trying to start the siege in Nurnen. Also saw the posts from Oct 17 and tried the workarounds there, without success.. How can we know when they will fix it?

Well I have been reading discussions and the devs claim that they are working on it but it could possibly be a while until they actually fix it. I have tried everything I could think of so now it is up to the devs.

Literally the only thing you can do is wait. After a while of not playing I managed to load it up one day and somehow do it. I did nothing different at all but hey I am in the end game now having fun I suppose. It's ridiculous to see that this is still a problem.

if somebody has this issue still and looking for a solution hear me out. i read a comment on a yt vid about to change your gear to the basic lvl1. i was like okay, its bs, why would it affect the loading screen. i tried it and actually worked lol. and not only that, but i dont even have any loading screen now when im entering a mission kekw. and no, you dont have to play with those gears, just switch it out for that quest, and after that you can change back to your previous gear. at least i did it and the game is loading in perfectly again

Yeahhh its working! Programmers messed up very well 😁😁😁
