Does blade of galadriel ending deny true ending of shadow wars?
Guys I saw all cinematics from Blade of galadriel and the final scene doesnt make sense to me. We know that Eltariel comes to Minas Morgul right after Sauron merged with Celebrimbor. The whole dlc is some sieges and Talion didn't even move to his fortresses to defend them, because as it was shown he was with Eltariel this whole time. So what about the secret scene, there Talion after DECADES OF WAR is devoured by ring and Blade of Galadriel DLC coudn't even last a year. There is a scene, where Talion is corrupted and join ranks of Witch King as I said after years and in DLC we see that he give up after some sieges which doesn't make any sense to me. What are you thought guys, am I missing something or DLC ending realy denies true ending?

Ye' seemed to contradict the entire shadow wars.

Also why The New Rign didn't betray Eltraiel? Talion was his master, he forget it and now he was beaten by it's force? I think the whole story of the dlc really misses a lot of plots and just forget about how this whole world works. I know it is not lore, but devs, if you tell us some stories just stick to it, don't deny it by next expansions...

Why did eltariel even wear the ring

why din't talion become full nazghul ( armor )

what the hell happened to that one orc you betray if you choose to go with driller

Yeah how the dlc fits into act 4 is not really explained. It feels like it takes place towards the end (the areas are starting to be overrun, defences starting to fail etc) but the story takes place right after Eltarial and celebrimbor fight sauron. the only thing i can think off is that in reality these missions are taking place after massive time skips or the missioins themselves are taking very long periods of time (one of the loading screen qoutes is that talion becomes more corrupted each year and that Eltarial knows that one day she will have to fight him) but if thats true its not made clear in game there is no "after a few months everything is ready, lets go blow up the fort" line of dialouge that would indicate that much time has passed.

maybe eltariel banished talion temporarily
Shalashaska Feb 6, 2018 @ 3:14pm
It would make sense if it took place during the end size none of the uruks you recruited in the main story are there.
Kylish Feb 6, 2018 @ 3:24pm
@yakinon, ok she could banish him temporaly. BUT we know from shadow wars that talion wasn't corrupted, he hold on to forces for decades and resisted it's power. SO why Eltariel killed him when he changed if he shouldn't change at all in this moment of story. ALSO even if we agree with dlc ending and Eltariel killed changed Talion there is no way for him to be free from corruption of ring, it can't be he was a Nazgul for a period of time and then he went back to be himself and kindly fought through Shadow Wars. No this whole dlc doesn't make any sense, because we know what happened in act IV, and there was no mentioning of him losing any control. At 10th stage Shelob says something like that " Hold darkness within yourself for some much time, your fight for Mordor will be over soon" or something like that, but I hope I kept sense of that speech, which proves TALION wasn't corrupted through all Shadow Wars and he gave up at the end and rode with Witch King to Shire, SO again whole dlc ending doesnt make any sense.
Sorry guys, but I'm so pissed of, I was a great fun of this game and they f****ed it's plot so badly that I can't stand it.

I thought Talion would kill Eltariel and then fully turn, atleast that would have made sense.

yep Talion held on and resisted Sauron for decades close to 60 years before finally falling to Sauron as a Nazgul when the time of the lord of the rings started. This ending just utterly and completely destroys and contradicts the shadow of war and is completely horrible, what did the devs do forget the ending for shadow of war cause seriously talion does not fall to sauron in a year. He falls to Sauron in 60 years after resisting sauron and keeping the shadow at bay. This is one of the times that I want to ask for a refund

Well hey, atleast the Baranor DLC probably wont mess things up. Let's just pretend this one doesnt exist.

in before Baranor can dominate orcs in order to raise his own army.

Nah, it was confirmed that you'll have to hire mercs instead.
I think the end of the Eltariel's dlc is completely connected with the final of the principal campaign, when she "killed" Talion (He can't die because of the Isildur's ring of power), he returns to the fortress of minas morgul, then the final of the principal campaign happens, bla bla he becomes a Näzgul bla bla Frodo destroys the ring bla bla Talion's death bla bla Eltariel goes to find Celebrimbor.
I really wants more a continuation of The Blade of Galadriel than a Baranor's dlc, im not excited at all of that dlc, but I have to admit the idea to play this kind of game with a human is... Interesting.

@DarSai I don't see it that way, whole Eltariel dlc denies everything Shelob and Sauron says through Shadow Wars. Besides at the end of True Ending we see Isildur Ring shining and taking control of Talion. Shelob says that THEN he fell, so this event at the end of blade of galadriel just doesn't make sense. Well please read my previous posts and you're gonna see this big plot hole ;)

What are you guys talking about. Eltariel stabs Talion. He still has the ring so revives in the keep at Minas Morgul whereupon he joins the Nazgul. Whats hard to understand about this?
