Ogg the Snowflake
Watch out for this guy in the second act of BOG. He is arrow proof, light proof, he's a defender and adapts to you leaping over him almost straight away, and you can't execute him from the front. He's also immune to stealth. Literally do not know how you're meant to defeat this guy...

I literally lured him out of the cave and baited him into exploding grog barrels and detonating fireplaces. Whenever he would be burning on the ground, I would hit him. He usually only takes one hit before getting back on his feet, but at the last exploding barrel I was able to autoattack chain him, and he simply burned to death.
I think in total it took me about 2 fireplaces, 3 grog barrels, and just a few autoattacks, for a total of probably 3 minutes or less.

Tip: when you run out in the camp, he will easily lose track of you (specially if you let him hit you and you need to hide and heal), but you want him to follow you to barrels and fireplaces (use V to easily locate them), so anytime he loses sight of you, shoot a quick arrow at him. He's immune to arrows, but you will gain his undivided attention.

Hope this was helpful for anyone reading! Googling about the dude before encountering him indeed helped me be prepared. I still tried fighting him in a more traditional way at the beginning, for the sake of it, but I almost got killed twice.

Just burn that f***er.

What does this have to do with snowflake? Snowflakes are so sensitive that they can be hurt by pretty much any and everything, and are basically the exact opposite of this guy with nothing but weaknesses.

Im stuck on exactly the same guy, I have to kill him for the frost rune but he is litteraly immune to everything I try, I even tried lighting him on fire using a camp fire but his blocking stance apparently stops him from catching on fire even :(

MINOR SPOLIER

Do the main quest until you get to Nurnun there you get a bodyguard that follows you region to region. Use him to double team the more difficult ones such as this guy.

I just basic attacked him to death, just roll to the side instead of vaulting.

Just keep darting round cover so he loses sight of you. Then run up behind him and attack, slowly building up might to use from the back. Rinse and repeat and you make short work of him.

you just gotta lure him outside and constantly attack him and them lose him then attack. Dont stealth attack just sneak up behind him and start wailing on him aand when he turns around lose him again, rinse and repeat.

If you are going in order you probably wont have him yet.

Idk what you mean with your order....but i already beat this guy just using only her bodyguard.

He meant doing every map in 100% before going forward.

Yeah, there was one of those types of guys in every region, if I recall right. Pain in the butt, and not in the "fun and challenging" way. It basically came down to me dodging, healing, desperately trying to stab him in the back to start an attack chain, then rinse and repeat... It got a lot easier when you unlock the bodyguard later on, but those invincible defenders were poorly balanced.

Every map 100%? LoL that's lame....if some orc are too tough then use bodyguard. Problem solved ;)

You only get the bodyguard when you first enter Nurnen. Since you go to Seregost as part of the main mission first you could very well not have the bodyguard when your in Seregost.

Ok i get it.....Those are only challenge and not campaign story, so it's not really important for me that i have to beat him solo or not. I choose get some guard rather than spend 30 min just for solo one orc. That's very boring.

Well if you dint go to Nurnen you didnt know there was a bodyguard yet. Thats the point being made. You offer an answer that requires you to go to an area you have no incentive to go to at that point in the game. But you dont tell people where to go to get him. You just say use him. Im mean you are right. Absolutely right but some arent gonna know what your saying.
