Cannot finish Nurnen Defend fort quest.

I dominated the last ORC captain and now it won't finish. I keep fighting and keep replenishing my captins but it never finishes

Hey man, I'm not sure did you solve your problem, but as much as I've seen, that is/was common problem for players. What you need to do quit that quest, restart your game and do it over again. I had that issue and restarting that quest solved the problem.

Thats what I did yesterday and it worked. Finally finished the dam quest

i had the same problem yesterday, definitely a bug when you recruit the last captain attacking your fortress.

You mean they come along and try get the fort back off you. That sounds like a lot of grinding to get it back, if you lose it.

I upgrade my forts to the max as soon as I take them.

Then one time when I went back to Nurnen. The white elf said, "the fort was safe, but you still prowl it worried". (Something like that anyway.)

I hope the forts are safe, because no way am I going around in circles losing and retaking them. Game takes blinking hours as it is.

Like I played 66 hours, and only cleared four areas. Only taken two forts. About ten more areas to conquer.

I am not complaining because it's a total blast; I love whacking or recruiting captains, with almost endless missions. However grinding to take back lost forts would put me out.

For anyone still thinking there's more than 3 stages... there isn't. It was shortened because 10 was horrible.
