I agree, can't go back from that grappling hook. That thing is one major reason I'll have a lot of fun playing more and more :D
I played for about one hour, pretty cool indeed,
the landscape, the new weapons and tool, very fun
It would be kinda odd to see those areas specifically, which have almost no relevance to Shadow of War except for minor background details, and only mattered in Shadow of Mordor, unless they do intend to hold some significance for Shadow of War.
This is just my idea on the possibility the Locations of Interest becoming interactable in some way, considering Monolith also mentioned they might be planning more stuff ahead.
Perhaps experience points. In my single run, (also Nemesis difficulty), I took all the outposts, killed all the captains and warchiefs before assaulting the fortress and racked up around 111,000 XP doing so (each XP counts to your final score too), enough to purchase all but 3 upgrades (never bothered with the Mercenary Discount upgrades)
Just try and do everything you can, kill every orc you can, as fast as you can. You should get a decently high score :)
So we're clear, I'm not sure if my 232,007 is a big score. I'm not sure how many others got that high, but Steam achievements report 0% of users having the Baranor the Conqueror achievement (Get a Gold rating on a DoM run). So it does seem like something not a lot of people have done. Just take the info I gave and use it, that's all I did after all :D

Maybe it is because I like spamming the shield charge, or it is a change in Middle-Earth fighting mechanics.
I would give it a 9/10.
Still, I once again feel how Tailon and Eltariel are IMBA in the game that killing hundreds of orc minions with dozens of AoE like cutting bugs, instant-kill orc captains in a thousand ways, able to deal with several army on their own, when Baranor is stuck to use Execution and crossbow and get into to troubles immediately when he tries to face just a dozen of orcs without body guards.
