using mirian after store shutdown

have they mentioned what mirian can be spent on after the in game shop is shut down or am i just going to start having a massive pile of the stuff without any real use for it?

Don't take my word on this but I think I remember hearing that you'll be able to use mirian to boost old gear up to your level or something

Will players still be able to earn and spend Mirian in the game?
Yes, Mirian will continue to be used to unlock gem slots and increase fortress defenses. We will also be adding the ability use Mirian to acquire Training Orders or upgrade a piece of older gear to your current level, as well as spend gems to reroll gear stats.

Since training orders will remain I'd assume that the Garrisson is going to stay in some form as well.

Nothing will change. All Orcs and in-game items that were in the Garrison prior to the Market closure will continue to be available after the Market is closed.

The garrison will remain intact. Everything in it will still be there.

so after that patch no new orcs will be addable to garrison...alias: shoud I spend Mirians now to keep legendary orcs to?

I can understand them wanting to get rid of the ability to just pay for a new roster of orcs using real money, but why they gotta remove the boxes altogether? It already takes a little bit to grind up 1500 silver things to get a box with 2 followers in it and you can lose followers pretty quickly just in training them.

I hope they are increasing the amount of training orders we get at least, so we can reinforce the captains we do get through domination with levels, better skills and epic/legendary upgrades.

training orders are still awarded for some of the online stuff, plus you will be able to spend mirian on them aswell

My main worry is that with high orc consumption in pits and sieges, mirians was a decent turnover means. removing it, it all requires dominating wild orcs. I think I will refill my garrison with how many possible

It wouldn't be so bad if training orders were like 4 or 5 times more available than they are now. I just don't get enough return to garrison training orders right now to be able to "stock up" up captains in any effective way beyong the first fort or two you take over. In fact I've only gotten two of them in two acts. That's not to mention what to do with captains you don't even really want anymore. Without their availability from boxes it seems like we're just going to have to deal with even the bad ones because its all we'll have.
