Are the DLC worth it?
Are the DLC worth it to wait for the "Game of the Year - Complete Edition" or however it will be called? Or are they just more of the same without real story or gameplay content?

Buy now or wait for more value later?

Thank you very much.

I have the gold edition
In my opinion, the tribes add some more variety in the game world, in the orcs, and fortresses

Blade DLC adds a new story, new enemis and friendly characters, new cutscens, cinematics, a new playable character with all new powers and skills, new gear, new voice lines, orcs react differently to this character, it's a bit short but it's good. imo it's totally worth it, i liked it. it adds new skins for the base game too

Desolation DLC is not yet released, it will com out in may. it adds new region, new playable character, new enemies, skills, eetc

you should get the gold edition or the expansion pass, maybe there won't be game of the eyar edition, or you just have to wait a lot of time

Gold edition is definitely worth it!

Thank you very much for your reply!
In this case I will wait for a reasonable price for the "Complete Collection". Time is on my side, I have more than enought to play. :-)

If you're interested in the tribes, then maybe the Silver Edition with its bonus tribes might be worth it. But the Blade of Galadriel DLC is not worth it at all. Its a confusing mess of a DLC that condradicts the main storyline, adds only the tiniest scraps of lore to the game, can be beaten in literally 2 and a half hours, and ends of a cliffhanger whilst also potentially baiting another game in the series.

Don't get the Blade of Galadriel man, its utterly terrible.

i can only speak for myself but the dlcs are not worth it at all, u can create slaughter/ourlaw tribe from using cheat engine to make them spawn. (they are straight up cut out content from the main game and i regret buying the season pass.

i had the base game for a long time before i bought the upgrade. even though i got it for 25bucks its still not worth it and people who buy it from steam directly are the greatest morons ever

I wouldn't be surprised if they were already programmed in but it does make the waiting time for them to be "released" pointless fluff and everything may as well have been pushed out at the start.

Or better yet, this stuff included in release and the expansion pass money actually used to fund expansions like it should have been for.

I just got this game on ps4 and still enjoy it but that is a little scummy.

they must have been in the base game because even the old game (shadow of mordor) had some of the slughter /outlaw tribe titles on the orcs there pretty much enough evidence that they where in the gamefiles before they released as ,,dlc'' ^^

i get your point the way they handled the developement on the dlcs here is verly poorly i can only confirm what i saw so far from the blade of galadriel dlc but there might be hope for the last dlc sonsidering how bad of the reviews must have been for all those dlcs i definitly voted all negativ so far
