Personally, I bought Gold Edition and have spent 800+ hrs, so it was definitely worth it for me. If you only plan to spend 20 hrs, then it is still an above average game, and worth the standard edition to try. You can get the Pass if you end up wanting more. Just don't expect to get a real feel of the game in a couple hrs, because there is a lot to learn.

I had blast like 5 days and now its finished. I could keep playing and spend more money on the Store but the quality isnt there yet, even this is excellent game but it feels unfinished, yeah, time to move on. Maybe next game is going to be it for me and I start spending money on the Store too.

Well worth it and you dont need to buy the microtransactions things to progress in game , in fact not soing this makes it more fun and challenging. Even the main story aside , there are alot of things to do to keep you occupied (ie Fighting Pits) that make this game great. So much better than the last one and hope there will be more in the franchise to come

totally worth it
10 times better than SoM

great stroy and characters, awesome fun combat, many skills, big diverse maps,
perfect graphics, performance and animations,
lots of thing to do, the enemies, adapt, they are badass, funny, etc

online features

i have gold edition, totally worth it, 300 hours played, i play it every day
and more dlc to come, free dlc and story expansions with new playable characters and a new region

Got the game for Christmas, lot of fun, in lots of ways better than shadow of Mordor but damn the ai is ♥♥♥♥ when it comes to fighting itself.

Pro: Great story lines and characters, great performance, animations, more regions to explore than SoM and microtransaction is not needed to progess the game.

Con: Story lines and cinematic too short compare to SoM, too many bugs, terrible pvp features and there is only one save slot. That mean if you want to restart new game then you have to delete your old progress.

I dont know how one call call this boring but one way to make this less-boring would be add customisable Keeps. It would be fun to build own Keep. Ive a feeling next Elder Scroll is going to be heavy on building Cities and Castles, so that said, keep your friends close but your enemies closer.
Next Elder Scrolls? Hilarious, Elder Scrolls Online has to stop giving Bethesda/Zenimax money for them to get into action..
