The wights more or less just makes it so you trade out necromancy on orcs to get your wrath bonus with the use of might since those are the same wights.
But the dash mask does allow the player to cheese the system pretty hard while the gondorians do come with the fact that you sacrifice the ability to resurrect orcs with the raise dead ability.
Hmmm all things considered- I'm running a full 4/4 undead set and a 2 set outlaw which includes armor (allow health regen per kill) and ring (increase uruk dmg).
I can still resurrect orcs using Elven Rage, when you press 5 when wrath is full after the wights do their thing. Just that I gain might so much faster than wrath.
The wights are seriously good tbh. Also, if there's a need for instant reinforcements instead of actually trying to kill some uruks first.
I don't heavily rely on undead lol. 98% of my army ranks are all uruks (alive and well). I only resurrect undeads who are generally better than average.
Both the undead sets for armor and ring aren't that good imo. One increases the raise dead radius, the other undead health, but I would rather the undead die so I can gain health off them. Also undead moves really slow and attack a tad slower than normal uruks.
The wights though.... is entirely a different story. 2 can bring a level 60+ uruk captain down to half health, and 3 or more can literally kill him outright.. at least from my plays.
I dont actually have the full bright lord set lol. Also I like undead as meat shields mostly. So I like going around killing mobs/usually just perfect countering them instead of spamming mouse 1 and hit my own captains during sieges.
Bright Lord is opposite to Dark Lord. Light is a term which Galadriel is accustomed to. Galadriel, Lady of Light, so WB the devs wouldn't want to go against or contradict the LOTR lore I guess.
Personally I've seen Wights be as deadly as a captain in terms of damage but as dull as a standard uruk frontline warrior when it comes to how interactive they are.
HOWEVER: if you use the 'Enrage Followers' ability, then they become ruthless slaughterer, turning captains into mince very quickly and they become a bit more cunning.
the best way to enhance further on this is to have a Bodyguard with the Commander Advanced Class, preferably a Savage or a Defender, Ologs are fair too. reason you want the commander is for the rage banner they bring, this also affect all NPC allies, from grunts, captains, bodyguards, revenants, undead and wights.
