What stuff do you lose access to after the 'final' mission?
So, i've reached the point where i've completed most of the quests and got the warning about tidying up loose ends before continuing so what i'd like to find out (without spoiling anything that comes next) is what stuff available in the world i'll lose access to?

Primarily thinking of the spider memories, gondor artifacts and shadows of the past elf missions.

Yeah the DLC tribe markers will still be there. In fact even Celebrimbor's challenges.

You should at least complete all the campaign Carnan's, Gondor's, etc before going into it (story-wise) Those might disappear I think.

You miss out on the skills that you get as a reward for doing the side missions, the xp and money reward aswell.
Gameplay wise you’ll lose one ability and some dialogue.
Honestly unless you just want to finish the game and move on I recommend just doing everything.

ok cool, good to know. After SoM i was mainly interested in the fortress siege offence/defence gameplay but its kinda mostly skipped over during the game other than the requirement to fight each of them once.

That's the bit of gameplay i wanted to get to, but i'm not far off finishing the side activities and i'm assuming the DLC tribe markers will still be all over the place.

The fortress stuff is all the end game is about.
You'll be able to endlessly defend and if you fail to do that retake your fortresses.
All the dlc is always available no matter the game state.

I did complete the main quests as there was a pop-up warning mentioning those ones, but didnt read it closely enough for the sides, and yeah went ahead with it after backing up save and everything's still right where i left it. Celebrimbor even reads out the poems still.
