Gameplay wise you’ll lose one ability and some dialogue.
Honestly unless you just want to finish the game and move on I recommend just doing everything.
That's the bit of gameplay i wanted to get to, but i'm not far off finishing the side activities and i'm assuming the DLC tribe markers will still be all over the place.
You should at least complete all the campaign Carnan's, Gondor's, etc before going into it (story-wise) Those might disappear I think.
You'll be able to endlessly defend and if you fail to do that retake your fortresses.
All the dlc is always available no matter the game state.
