Your experience with shunning captains?
I'm kinda curious which experiences you guys made by shunning captains?

- Do they become maniacs often or is it rather rare for you?
- Do you get many deranged captains after shunning them?
- How do your deranged captains behave?

For me personally it seems like they become maniacs rather rarely but when they do the increase in power is pretty significant. (become legendary and like +20 levels)

Them becoming deranged is also pretty rare for me and seems pretty random. Some took one shunning and others around 7 times before they go full loony.

So far i had one guy that doesn't talk anymore but instead he now only howls like a poor dog. Another also stopped speaking but instead squels like a pig now. One guy just laughs pretty hysterically and also stopped talking and the last one seems to only ask "Why?!" all the time and says nothing else.

Really curious how your deranged captains turned out! :lunar2019piginablanket:

I dont break them but i adopted some victims: a masochist who say "i dont feel anything" (make me sob), a creep who both sob and laugh, a guy who say " you are stupid" (him or us, dont know). Probably some others poor creatures killed by my misericordious blade xd. Ps; you are a sadist and its a terror tribe fan who say this.

Please note that 'shunning' and 'shaming' are similar but not quite the same thing. Both result in Talion sending the orc away and decreasing his level, but there is a difference. 'To shun' is to deliberately kick an orc from your army while also shaming him, whereas 'to shame' is to simply reduce an enemy orc level.

Anyways, when you shun or shame an orc, most of the times they will simply get their level reduced and brag about how you destroyed their reputation when you meet them again. However, there's the possibility of this orc becoming deranged or a maniac.

Repeatedly shaming an orc will probably make him deranged eventualy, since this is the 'normal' outcome, but since the chances are low, you'll probably have to shame an orc multiple times before that happens. It can happen on the first try, but as I said, the chances are low.

Now, maniacs are even rarer. When you shame an orc he can become a maniac instead of deranged, which will turn him into legendary and also give him a huge boost in level.

But regardless of the outcome, deranged or maniac, they will always have their minds destroyed. After that, these orcs will only speak nonsense or simply scream, moan, etc.

Oh shun is "you are useless for me now!". Bad choice bcause Zog will raise him xd. Then my deranged rate is 100% with a maniac for the only guy who was kicked xd

RNG really hates me. I have a ridiculous amount of deranged uruks running around and a couple of maniacs. The game seems to know what uruks i want and blueballs me by turning them insane. It's come to a point where i don't even bother anymore with iron willed uruks and just kill them.

Lol The ones who followed me across regions so far were the few sane ones. One of them being an ex-slave i freed by getting killed by him. My maniacs tend to keep to themselves for some reason.

Oh my dude i get the same alot haha....

Worst thing was when i went for the "If You Can't Beat Them"
(Recruit an Orc after he's killed you three or more times.) achievement.

I tried this on the "worst" guy possible but it was alot of fun anyway. I tried it on an Olog "something something the suspicious" this dude would refuse to kill me and just humiliate me everytime thinking i'm just a test by the Nazgul and i would work with them hahaha.

Needless to say i had to find another candidate for this one.... :lunar2019piginablanket:
